Although I obtained my license in 1984, I'm actually new to Amateur Radio, finally getting on air in Feb-2012. I obtained my license in G-land, and after returning home had a VK1 call. I never actually got around to buying equipment, but rectified that in 2012.
You can get full details of my Amateur Radio activities on my QRZ page.

I have been searching my family history for many years with some success since 1984. A full HTML version of my family tree and that of my wife is available. This shows full family group sheets for all individuals and what details I have. Hopefully some of you people out there can recognise some of the individuals. I'm also looking for information on William Hillman of the Hillman Motor Company.
I use Legacy to keep my records. I can highly recommend this package.
During my researches I have purchased a wonderful book entitled Notorious Strumpets & Dangerous Girls by Phillip Tardif. It contains biographical details of 1,675 women transported to Van Diemens Land (Tasmania) between 1803 and 1829. I'm happy to look up and pass on details to researchers interested in any entries in this book.
I'm an avowed Skeptic. The Australian Skeptics Inc is a very interesting site. So all you spam'ers and junk mailers out there, don't waste bandwidth with your silly offers.
